Dr. Steven Belbin
Dr. Steven Belbin, B.Sc., DDS has been the principal general dentist at Yorkwood Village Dental since 1995. He obtained Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees from the University of Toronto.
Dr. Belbin is proud to offer the highest levels of care to his patients through extensive continuing education including many courses in dental implants, fixed and Invisalign orthodontics, restorative dentistry and prosthodontics.
He has a particular interest in offerring state of the art Cerec CAD/CAM single visit restorations and helping many patients through the use of dental appliances to treat sleep apnea and snoring.
Dr. Ryan Margel
Dr. Ryan Margel, DMD, MS, FRCD(C) is our Endodontist who specializes in root canals. Originally from Toronto, he graduated with distinction from York University with a major in Mathematics.
Dr. Margel obtained his dental degree from The University of Pennsylvania. He then went on to work as a general dentist for two years prior to embarking on a two-year specialty program at Marquette University in Endodontics.
His Masters thesis investigated the anatomical complexities of molar root canals.Dr. Margel is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada, and a member of The American Association of Endodontists.
Dr. Michael Sherman
Dr. Sherman has been practicing orthodontics in Keswick for over 25 years He strives to provide excellent orthodontic care and great smiles for all of his patients in a professional and friendly environment.
Life long learning is very important to Dr. Sherman. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Waterloo, he earned his dental degree (DDS) from the University of Toronto, he graduated from the University of Manitoba graduate orthodontic program (Certified Specialist Orthodontist and MSc degree) and Dr. Sherman completed his Master’s of Business Administration degree (MBA) at the Queen’s University.
Dr. Sherman is Past President of the Ontario Association of Orthodontists and the Great Lakes Association of Orthodontists. He was honoured with the Ontario Association of Orthodontists Distinguished Service Award. He served as member and chairman of the American Association of Orthodontist’s Council on Orthodontic Practice for six years.
